BodySpex utilizes a Tanita Corporations patented Body Composition Analysis (BCA) scale in its system. The BodySpex BCA system sends a weak electrical current through the body. Individuals who have a pacemaker or other internal medical devices should not use this product. This device is used with bare feet. Clean the weighing platform after each use with the disinfecting wipe provided. Never pour liquid directly on the weighing platform. To reduce risk of injury or malfunction, always step onto the weighing platform slowly.

Attempting to achieve and maintain an extremely low body fat percentage can have serious health risks. You are strongly advised to consult your health professional before establishing a target body fat percentage. The data provided by this machine, as well as any supplementary information such as diet or exercise programs based on this data, should be interpreted by a licensed health professional.
