certain scales, during the testing process both before and after viewing
their results. This means users are guaranteed to view these premium
ads while they are taking their BodySpex tests. Our scales are being
placed in health clubs, fitness centers, universities, malls across
the country. Most clubs chose to place one scale in each locker room.
Their clients are free to use the scale each time they work out BUT
whether they use the scale or not, they can't miss seeing it or the
ads displayed on the screen. It's like a closed circuit TV network
in Gyms across America. Plus, our advertisers also receive advertising

What does BodySpex Advertising look like?

be displayed in full color on the kiosk touch screen similar to

Our advertising sales staff is happy to answer questions and assist
you in making it easy to advertise with BodySpex. Ads on our scales
must be 800 x 600 pixels. Just like the internet, our screens display
in full color at 72 dpi. Internet ads should be 180x135 pixels

On the BodySpex Scale:
Ads on the BodySpex Scale must be 800 by 600 pixels. They
must be formatted as either GIF or JPEG files, GIFs are preferred.
The size of each file must be no larger than 600 K. The smaller
the file size, the better it will work. Our touch screen displays
in full color so ads can be created using any combination of photos,
graphics and text. We have found the most effective advertisements
on this screen to be images that have a good balance of color. The
fewer words an advertisement screen has the better it will be received
on this screen.
Each screen will display for a duration between 2 and 15 seconds
while the scale is at rest, waiting for the next user. The scale
has subtle audio prompts which draw attention to itself even when
nobody is using it assuring your ads are constantly being viewed.
Premium Ads will soon be available which will be displayed during
testing. These ads will available on scales placed in public locations
and in private facilities where body fat tests are free of charge.
These ads will be displayed before, during and after the body fat
test (and even before, during and after test results are viewed.)
Also, video and flash animated advertisements will soon be available
on the BodySpex Scale. As the BodySpex network grows the advertising

section or member areas of bodyspex.com. Our system allows for a
high degree of targeting with these ads. We are capable of allowing

page with a link to your own website to help drive traffic your
way. A discount is offered to any business who includes a link to
BodySpex.com on their own website.
Our standard sized ad is 180 by 135 pixels. It's the perfect size
to take the full advantage of both types of BodySpex advertising,
because an 800 x 600 used on the BodySpex scale reduces perfectly
to 180 x 135. To add variety, we will also accept square ads sized
125 x 125 pixels or vertical banners sized 120 x 240 pixels.
Just like our Scale advertisements, web ads must also be formatted
as GIF or JPEG files. To assure the fastest loading speed, the size
of these files must be less than 100K. Nothing will annoy web surfers
like images that take too long to load so images that are less than
50k are preferred.
Premium advertising is available on BodySpex.com. If you would
like your ad to appear on a specific page or if you prefer a banner
or skyscraper type of advertisement we are happy to oblige. For
an additional cost, we do accept horizontal Banner ads (468 x 60)
or half banner (234 x 60) or vertical skyscraper ads (120 x 600)
or wide skyscraper ads (160 x 600.) The same file size restrictions
apply to these advertisements as well. Premium Placement advertising
allows you to reserve the exact page on which your ad will appear.
Certain pages within bodyspex.com will be viewed every time a member
